It all starts at 5pm with a short SRK Greenway business meeting to update the membership on the exciting work and developments of the past year. SRK Chair, Tim Eliassen, will provide a quick overview health of the organization and share some highlights of the progress made in the past year.
Following the brief meeting, Tim will introduce our featured speaker, Henry Jones, from the NH Fish and Game Department. Henry is the Moose Project Leader and regional wildlife biologist in central New Hampshire. His talk is titled ‘Moose Ecology and how this relates to historic and current status in NH’. Henry will include an update on the latest moose population research and provide his perspective on the current situation.
Please come and enjoy an evening with the SRK Greenway hiking community and learn about the current Moose population in our Granite state. This meeting and lecture is Free and open to the public.
Moose Ecology and how this relates to historic and current status in NH
Following the SRK Greenway Annual virtual meeting on Sunday April 11th, Henry Jones, NH Fish and Game Department, will present on Moose Ecology and how this relates to population changes in NH and New England.

Henry will share with us an update on the current status of the Moose population in New Hampshire, and will also share details from the most recent Moose research available. The presentation will also address the moose population decline in New England due to the increased population of ticks and how climate change is affecting their habitat.
